Shel Talmy, arguably the most influential producer in the history of British rock

Miggs and Trace, both huge fans of early British rock, interview perhaps the most influential producer of his generation, Chicago born Shel Talmy! In his early 20s he went to London and discovered and produced the Who, The Kinks, David Bowie (then David Jones) and many other British groups as well as the Australian group the Easybeats, who produced, arguably, the greatest pop hit of the decade, "Friday on my Mind".
